Here it is!
This is our award winning class that is one of the most popular training
programs running.
If you have ever wondered how those electricians are able to find
problems fast... Here is how you can learn!
Students will learn how to safely and effectively find and fix problems
found in electrical control circuits and systems. Using real test meters
to troubleshoot real powered circuits, each student will take what they
have learned and put it to use in class... and on the job the very next
day!
Students will learn the tricks of the electrical trade from
instructors who have done the work... No hipe here... Just Straight
Talk!
Learn to troubleshoot by doing it!

This Two-Day class covers:
Day One:
Troubleshooting Industrial Electricity I
-
Safety First!
-
OSHA Requirements regarding troubleshooting
-
Understanding and Using Electrical Drawings
-
Using Meters and taking measurements
-
How these common components work and how to troubleshoot them:
Starters, Relays, Transformers, Capacitors, Switches, Limit
Switches, and more...
Understanding a systematic method to finding a failure in a circuit.
The
majority of this class is spent working on real powered electrical
panels with real electrical components. The Instructor will place "Real
World" bugs or failures in the circuit. Using the methods learned in
this class, the students will use their meters and instruments to find,
and actually fix the problem. Real failures...real results.
Day Two:
Troubleshooting Industrial Electricity II
-
Troubleshooting more complex components such as: Timers,
Electronic Sensors, Proximity Sensors, Motor Overload Devices,
Heating Elements, Thermal Switches. Remote Stations, and More...
-
Understanding Complex Ladder Diagram Symbols
-
Troubleshooting Three-Phase Motors
-
Insulation tests using a Megger
-
Troubleshooting using more advanced Devices and Circuits
This
second day reflects the same methodology in troubleshooting by adding
more complex components and circuits. This training prepares a
maintenance person with the knowledge needed to quickly find and repair
the failures that are found everyday in industrial facilities. The
Hands-On approach allows the student to practice what he or she is
learning, building the needed confidence to make them a better, faster
troubleshooter!

This class was better than other training I have taken. I
learned a lot of real world stuff!
Tom S., Cargill Corp. |
| Great
Instructor. Very good class... I needed this years ago! Gary W.,
Wheatland Tube Company |
| The instructor takes time
to make sure everyone understands...It is taught in a manner you
can use at your facility right now...The instructor was an
ex-maintenance man who has been there and has actually seen the
problems...
Bill N.,Schwab Corp. |
| I would recommend this
class because it actually prepares you for events that
actually happen in the field... You actually troubleshoot and
that is a lot better than someone just telling you... Tim B., Stewart-Warner |
